Try hard to get there but be prepared for a serious flu - bring a very warm and windproof hat, gloves, scarf and coat. We spent an hour just wandering around and reading everything about the history of the Albatross and how the Colonies were discovered, founded and protected over the years. Awesome location, cool pop culture vibes, very yummy food, perfect coffee and very friendly staff. Definitely a must visit. The food and milkshakes were absolutely fantastic on a dreary Wellington afternoon. My eggs Benedict was perfectly cooked with great sides. Only the hash browns were a bit mushy. Rich, creamy milk shakes that you had to start eating with a spoon as they slowly melted. Huge portions for the really hungry.
