The best!

The playground is also very well-made, so it's great to go with kids, and Daebong Skyland has a zipline and monorail, so it's a great place to go with friends. I regret not being able to ride the zipline because of a hangover, so I'll definitely visit again. Gaepyeong Hanok Village I actually thought to myself, "Is this the right place?" while going there..ㅎ I was sad to go home, but I had nowhere else to go, so I went there!! But❗️ I was amazed as soon as I got out of the car😮 I visited Jeonju Hanok Village a while ago, but it has a completely different atmosphere👍🏻 If you want to feel the atmosphere of a tourist destination, I recommend Jeonju Hanok Village☺️ Delicious food, pretty cafes, and Hanbok rentals! However, if you like quietness(?) that suits Hanoks, I recommend Gaepyeong Hanok Village👏🏻 I hardly saw any cafes or restaurants👀 It's a small and quiet village🤫 I like quietness, so I liked Gaepyeong Hanok Village better🤎 The healing atmosphere while walking around the village! At Hamyang Daebong Sky Valley, there is a mountain monorail that goes up to the peak of Daebongsan, Cheonwangbong. You can also use the zipline that goes down from the peak. If you take the monorail to the peak, you can face the peak of Jirisan, Cheonwangbong, and you can also see the surrounding areas at a glance. The beautiful scenery, from early morning until sunset, draws crowds of visitors. In addition to asta chrysanthemums, a variety of autumn flowers are also planted, including gaura, silver grass, and chrysanthemums! 5-7 Galgye Forest 📍731-42 Songgye-ro, Buksang-myeon, Geochang-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do Many people only know Geochang as the asta chrysanthemums of Gamaksan Mountain in September, but around the same time the asta chrysanthemums bloom, the Geochang Galgye Forest is also filled with red aster flowers. #summervacay Took a chill day trip out to Yeongchusan in Hamyang, and it was such a peaceful little adventure. The trail isn’t super famous, which means barely any crowds, just birds, breeze, and your footsteps. Loved it. The hike starts off mellow through a forest that feels straight out of a fairytale. Super green, lots of shade, and totally quiet. As you go higher, it gets a bit steeper, but nothing too wild, just enough to get the heart going and make you feel like you earned your snack break. At the top, the views are surprisingly awesome. You get that wide-open look at all the surrounding hills, and the wind up there? So refreshing. I found a flat rock, stretched out, and just chilled with some kimbap and tea like a mountain bum. Honestly, Yeongchusan isn’t flashy, but that’s what makes it great. Perfect if you want nature without the stress. Peaceful, pretty, and totally underrated. Will definitely be back.

I went there kind of just looking for a pretty walk, but it turned into this magical forest-waterfall adventure. The trail hugs the valley the whole way, so you get this constant soundtrack of rushing water. Super peaceful and kinda makes you forget about real life for a bit. There are little bridges, rocky paths, and secret spots to dip your feet in, perfect for a mid-hike chill. The waterfalls along the way? Beautiful. Not giant, but they’ve got that peaceful, tucked-away vibe. The air was super clean, and the mist from the water made everything feel cooler, even on a warm day. The trail isn’t crazy difficult, just a little up and down, but nothing too intense. I packed some kimbap, found a rock by the stream, and just zoned out for a while. The trail kicks off nice and mellow, weaving through quiet woods with that earthy forest smell that just clears your brain. Total nature therapy. Some parts get your heart rate going, but nothing too wild, just enough to feel like you're actually hiking. The real treat? That rocky summit with sweeping views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. I lucked out with clear skies, and the horizon looked endless. Chilled at the top with some snacks and didn’t want to come down. Barely saw other hikers, so it felt like I had the whole mountain to myself. Super relaxing, super scenic. It’s one of those UNESCO World Heritage Sites, but like, it doesn’t hit you with that “touristy” vibe at all. Super calm, super pretty, and honestly just feels like you’ve stepped back in time a bit. The buildings are beautiful in that old, understated way, nothing flashy, but the details are insane. You can totally feel the history just walking around. I had no idea a Confucian academy could be this peaceful and photogenic. The mountains in the background? Chef’s kiss. Not a ton of people around, which made it extra chill. Just birds, breezes, and that whole “wow, this place has been here forever” feeling. Sat on a bench for a bit doing absolutely nothing, and it felt perfect. If you're into slow travel and quiet vibes with a side of deep history, Namgyeseowon totally delivers. No guidebook needed, just go and wander.

The trail starts off mellow with a nice forest vibe, tons of shade, birds chirping, and just enough incline to remind you you're on a hike, not a walk. It’s not too tough, but there are a few sections that’ll get your legs working (in a good way). Once you get closer to the top, the trees start to open up and the views are seriously underrated. You get this wide panorama of mountains, valleys, and if the sky’s clear, it’s just amazing. It’s quiet up there too, super peaceful with barely any crowds. Perfect spot for a mid-hike snack and just soaking in the view. Not overly popular, but definitely worth the effort. Hwangseoksan = good vibes, solid workout, and awesome nature time.

Today, I visited the Hamyang Wine Tunnel & Cafe, a must-see spot during my trip to Hamyang! It was a special place where I could enjoy a relaxing atmosphere filled with the scent of wine. 🍷✨ The cafe interior is cozy and has a sentimental design, making it perfect for taking photos! I enjoyed a moment of healing while eating pork cutlet and sipping wine, all while admiring the scenery outside. ☕🍰 What's even better is that you can explore the wine tunnel, making it a fulfilling space for both cafe enjoyment and cultural experiences! If you love wine, this is a place you must visit! 🍇❤️ Hamyang Cafe, full of healing vibes—I definitely want to come back again.

Last summer, I visited Hamyang with my foreign friends! The first photo is Ungok-ri Ginkgo Tree Village! A very large ginkgo tree protects the village. If you look at it once, you will be amazed by its enormous size. The second and third photos are Yongchusa Temple! There is usually a small waterfall, but if you visit the day after it rains, you can see a huge waterfall!
