Busan Kalguksu Lunch
When wondering where to have lunch in Busan, South Korea, I thought, since I'm in a seaside city, why not go for Kalguksu (a Korean noodle dish similar to udon) because I like it, so I decided to try the clam Kalguksu at a popular nearby restaurant.
I visited the Bihak Mountain Knife-cut Noodles Haeundae Main Store, which is just a few minutes' walk from Haeundae Beach.
I looked up places where I could eat Kalguksu, but it turns out that something like a Bibimbap set meal is actually more popular, and almost everyone else was ordering that!
As a result, I was told that the Kalguksu would take 15 minutes (laughs).
But I was craving Kalguksu, so I decided to wait the 15 minutes.
The taste was worth the wait! It was delicious!

Attention KaKao Fans! Must-Visit Haeundae Ryan Immersive Exhibition Hall in Busan
One of the must-visit checkpoints in South Korea is to see Ryan (or Choonsik), and it turns out that there is a Ryan Holiday in Busan immersive exhibition hall near Haeundae District in Busan. While strolling in Haeundae, you can spot Ryan sunbathing on a ship from afar, which is just too cute!
If you have purchased the Busan Pass, this exhibition offers free admission. However, even without a ticket, you can still check in at some public areas, such as the giant rotating Ryan at the entrance and a bunch of large figures in front of the souvenir shop, where you can also take sticker photos.
With paid admission, you can enter the immersive Ryan exhibition hall, which is divided into different areas. After completing each area, you can get a stamp as a souvenir. The wave corridor inside is quite worth checking in, and the most interesting is Ryan's dressing room, where you can see Ryan's daily outfits and some KaKao Friends clothes, which are very well designed!
The exhibition features many interactive experiences, one of which is a 4DX cinema. The audience can tour Haeundae with the company of Ryan and Peach, enjoying the sea breeze, making the whole experience quite enjoyable.
As a fan of KaKao Friends, remember to take the opportunity to visit if you are going to Busan during the exhibition period.

Busan, you are a poem. 🖊️💌
Stayed in Haeundae whike we were in Busan, and it is such a beautiful place to travel! It has a rich Guilin landscape, stunning mountains and rivers, magnificent rolling cliffs and very lovely small town streets. The Haeundae beach is one of the most popular and big beaches in Korea. The beach is nice, long and photogenic. The contrast of the colour of the sand and the sky with the glass buildings that reflect the sky works wonders. The views are picturesque. There are many hotels around here and it provides convenience for beachgoers. Also, there are many restaurants and cafes nearby, so you can eat various kinds of meals. If you like to take a walk, I recommend doing it at night. Because the night view of the surrounding building is very beautiful. You can walk along the beach, which is a nice walk with beautiful view of the sea and city. The streets in Haeundae is aesthetically pleasing and beautiful. The atmosphere and the vibe is totally different from Seoul. It is so peaceful and beautiful. The locals there are so nice and friendly. I really love this place would definitely come here to visit again in the future.

Busan - Blue Line Park & Observatory
At the end of Haeundae Beach is Mipo station where you can get on the train or sky capsule. It is one end of the rail line. You will continue away from Haeundae if you start there.
I took a train from Cheongsapo to Mipo. Cheongsapo is a small seaside town. I had donuts at a place called Alice Donut. From Cheongsapo station I walked to the observatory deck which takes about 10 minutes. You will have to wear shoe coverings which is provided for you at the entrance.
You can also walk on the wooden deck path back to Haeundae. The path has the word “green” in it, I cannot remember the name.

Haeundae Beach
My first trip to Busan in May. Stayed in a hotel nearby with easy access to the beach. They still have their World Expo promotion up. I think they are also prepping for the sandcastle festival for later in May.
If you look out at the water there are more hotels and restaurants to the left and to the right it is quieter and leads you to a trail around an island.
You can access the sky capsule or the train at the end of the beach. The highest starbucks in Korea is also off this beach.
The beach itself has soft sand and clean. Some parts of the beach is shallow. There are plenty of places to get some food within walking distance, at least five minutes or more. It was off season so the beach was not crowded.
FYI: no fireworks at the beach. They make announcements to remind you.

Puffer Fish soup in Busan
To most people puffer fish is a poisonous sea creature, but Koreans and Japanese treat them as a special delicacy. This shop named Geumsu (Gold Water) serves puffer fish meals. The main dish served is puffer fish soup with bean sprout and there are many side menus to be chosen such as braised puffer fish and deep fried. The soup has a clean fish taste and the bean sprout and chives adds on to its freshness. The fish itself has lots of bone and less flesh but the soup tasted heavenly. This shop has many shops around Busan so be sure to try while visiting Busan.

Pork Soup in Busan, Haeundae
Who wouldn't like a bowl of hot soup during this chilly winter? In Haeundae Busan near Louis Hamilton Hotel, there is an eatery that serves piping hot pork soup with rice, called Mika (means nice house). The soup is boiled with pork bones for many hours, making the broth very thick, and slices of lean pork meat were added to the soup. You can also opt to upsize and add another small plate of pork slices for those with bigger tummy. Same like many pork bone soup outlets, this shop is open 24 hours so visitors can also opt to have a late night dinner if they are on errands and busy with work.

If one get to visit Busan, Haeundae beach is definitely one of the Must-see places !!! Wide, clean and beautiful beach! Best part of all is that it can be reach by subway line 2 and get of at Haeundae station, exit 5. From there you walk for around 400 meters, and there you will see the beach.
The beach is around 1.5 kilometer long and 30-50 meters wide. So you can really enjoy walking along the beach with the beautiful scenery of the sea. The beach is one of the most famous beaches as well as the most popular vacation destinations even among Koreans.
There are numbers of festivals and events going on throughout each year, such as movie talks and Busan International Film Festival.

A Beautiful Cafe Featured in the Starbucks Diary
A beautiful Starbucks cafe that is featured in the Starbucks diary is located in Haeundae, Busan. This store, called the Busan Haeundae Dongbaek branch, is situated between Haeundae Station and Dongbaek Station on the Busan subway line. The store boasts high ceilings and operates on two floors. On the second floor, you can enjoy a view of the Haeundae sea blended with a pine forest. The ceiling of the store features a beautiful sculpture representing waves and ripples tinged with the colors of the sunset. The spacious store and comfortable seating arrangement make it a perfect place to relax during your trip to Busan, so I highly recommend it.
Hidden Gem in Haeundae, Busan: Seomin Bulbaek near Jangsan Station
In Haeundae-gu, near Jangsan Station, there's an affordable yet delicious restaurant called Seomin Bulbaek. Although it's a bit away from the main tourist spots, it's worth a visit. They offer a set menu that includes a tasty meal along with ramen, which I highly recommend trying.
Personally, I recommend the pork bulgogi rice bowl with a ramen set. At a reasonable price of 6,500 KRW, you get a hearty meal including soup. If you visit Jangsan Station in Haeundae, Busan, be sure to check it out.
Jogae Day in Haeundae: Top Spot for Grilled Clams
#voyagevibes
Drawn by great reviews, I visited Jogae Day for grilled clams in Haeundae, and the view alone was stunning! Despite it being an all-you-can-eat spot, the clams were incredibly fresh and delicious. With a strong fire, everything cooked quickly, and free ramen was a nice bonus. The price start from 38000 won for 1 buffet ticket. I’ll definitely be back when I crave grilled clams!

Tiger Jelly Rice Cakes: A Unique Treat in Busan
#voyagevibes
Curious about the popular tiger jelly rice cakes in Busan, I decided to try them. They’re now sold in a box of six (not individually, unfortunately). Despite not being a pistachio fan, I went with the signature flavor, and it was surprisingly delicious! There are only five flavors, so it’s easy to choose one to snack on while exploring. The rice cakes are chewy and refreshing—a must for arc fans. They even packed them in an ice box, so no melting worries!

Yoko Coffee Bar: A Recommended Cafe in Haeundae, Busan

The coffee in the photo I ordered is a Con Panna.
The owner grinds the beans and makes the whipped cream by hand, making it taste even better.

The clear soup feels like Galbitang.

By the Sea at Haeundae
Walking and playing by the sea at Haeundae is truly healing! The feeling of the wide sandy beach under your feet is pleasant, and as you walk while listening to the sound of the waves, you feel completely relaxed.
It's also great for taking photos with the sea as a backdrop, and you won't get tired even after walking for a long time, so you can have a great time with family, friends, or a partner.
If you go on a nice day, you can enjoy the cool breeze as well~

Horangi Jellatteok Rice cake/mochi ice cream shop is one that you shouldn't miss when you're in Busan Korea. This mochi ice cream shop is frequented by famous celebrities and you can even see their autographs hung up on the shops's wall. These mochi ice cream are sold 6 in box at 25,000KRW. You can't buy only 1 or 2 pieces of it to try, thus they are alittle inflexible in that sense.
Flavours available for these mochi ice cream include roasted pistachio, coffee biscuit, jeju organic matcha and vanilla pink salt. It's not hard to understand why everyone wants a piece of these mochi ice cream, including celebrities. The mochi skin is thin and soft, while the ice cream inside is milky, creamy and rich in flavour. So so yummy! Gloves are also provided for easier eating and they score extra brownie points for that. If you're looking for an authentic taco place in Busan, you must visit GoGo Tacos.
📍Address: 11 U-dong 1-ro 38beon-gil, Haeundae-gu, Busan, 139, 140
📍Atmosphere/Facilities: Full of Mexican resort vibes
📍Key Points
Honestly, I haven't had many tacos before, but I tried two famous places in Busan, and they don't compare to this one. It's the best, really. I had a beef taco, and the beef was shredded like jangjorim. It's like they put the beef in a pulled pork style. I did feel like it could use a bit more seasoning or marination, but that's just a minor gripe. It was delicious, no doubt about it. And the chips were amazing too. They give you about four different sauces for the chips, and all of them were tasty. The chips also had pulled pork-like meat in them. Highly recommended.
