The concept of Ski In & Ski Out is very attractive to ski enthusiasts. There is a ski resort right outside the door and a cable car station next to it. After skiing, you can go directly back to the hotel to rest. It is convenient and fast! This time we stayed at ANA Crowne Plaza Resort Appi Kogen in Appi Kogen. Here is a detailed experience sharing to let you know the pros and cons of this hotel. 🗻About accommodation at Appi Kogen Ski Resort - There are three hotels in Appi Kogen Ski Resort, all of which belong to the IHG InterContinental Hotels Group: 🏨 ANA InterContinental Resort Appi Kogen 🏨 ANA Crowne Plaza Resort Appi Kogen 🏨 ANA Holiday Inn Resort Appi Kogen - These hotels are located in front of the ski resort, and the cable car station is just a few steps away from the room⛷️, realizing true Ski In & Ski Out, attracting many ski enthusiasts to stay. (All at your own expense) We chose ANA Crowne Plaza Resort Appi Kogen, which was renamed in December 2021. Its biggest selling point is the convenience of Ski In & Ski Out. It takes about 1.5 hours by bus from JR Morioka Station to the hotel entrance. The transportation is relatively convenient and very friendly to skiers. However, the check-in experience was not satisfactory. 🏢 Hotel exterior and room facilities - The hotel's exterior is khaki in color, which contrasts sharply with the white snow, but it lacks aesthetic appeal and looks old and dull 😕. - We stayed in a Premium Twin Beds with 2 Sofa Beds room. The room conditions are as follows: - The space is large, but the facilities are old. The carpet, wardrobe, table, cabinet and sofa all have obvious signs of age. The bathroom is a typical Japanese style with all-plastic material. - The room is clean and odorless. After turning on the humidifier at night, the sleep quality is pretty good🛌 - The rooms with mountain views can see a silvery white snow, the scenery is still very charming❄️ 🍽️ Dining Experience This was our biggest disappointment, the dining experience did not feel at all commensurate with the room rate. - Buffet dinner and breakfast experience provided by the hotel: - The restaurant is filled with a strong smell of oil smoke, which makes people feel a little uncomfortable from the moment they enter the door🤢 - The buffet restaurant is overcrowded and you need to "fight" for food with other guests🍽️ - The food quality is average, it feels like the standard of a cheap canteen. Fuji), it is famous especially for its beautifully spreading skirt of the east ridge and the rugged west ridgeline. On Mt. Iwate, there are seven unique climbing trails. The feature here is that a variety of climbing experiences can be enjoyed depending on how you combine climbing and descending routes. From the top, a whole view of wide-ranging Northern Tohoku region can be seen. And the numerous stone Buddha statues as well as the Inner Sanctuary of Iwatesan-jinja Shrine transmit a tradition of mountain worship to the present day.

Hachimantai is a famous scenic spot in Iwate Prefecture. #Maple Viewing We accidentally ended up on a maple viewing trip. The Japanese weather is really accurate, and the prediction of red maple leaves is also accurate.
