This summer was rainy and Guizhou was also affected. At the end of July, there were many people in Huangguoshu and due to floods, some plank roads in the scenic area were closed and controlled. As Hong Kong residents, we cannot book tickets online, but we still went to Huangguoshu Waterfall in early August. We went directly to the special person ticket office at the ticketing center to buy same-day tickets with our ID cards. We could enter the site before 2:30 pm with our tickets and facial recognition. However, due to the large number of tourists, it was difficult to complete the tour of the Tianxing Bridge and the Big Waterfall scenic area in one day. Fortunately, we could visit all three scenic areas within three days with our tickets/facial recognition.

Work your way around to experience the rainbow at the bottom 😍 Be warned, the queue is crazy! My advice would be to go there as early as possible and make your way straight to the majn waterfall. You can spend the rest of your time exploring the surrounding the area which is also very beautiful and has many smaller waterfalls and walks for you to enjoy.

Huangguoshu Waterfall or 'Yellow-Fruit Tree Waterfalls' is one of the largest waterfalls in China and East Asia located on the Baishui River in Anshun, Guizhou province. Hongya Historic Site is one of the most famous tourist attractions in Chongqing, one of the large city in the southwest part of China. This place is free and you can experience the fact that Chongqing is a city built on the hills. You can experience the huge height difference in the city. In the attractions, you can also view the beauty of the river and the city. There are tons of shops selling lots of local foods and souvenirs. The price is typical tourists attractions price but there are plenty of choice though. Near this site, there are also lots of local restaurants that provide great spicy food. Also their place is easy to get via rail in Chongqing.
