This is a pension I found while traveling with my cousin by chance! I've always wanted to go to a lavender farm, but I couldn't bring myself to go because it was too far! But there was a pretty lavender farm in nearby Gochang so I ran over there right away :) The place I visited was Gochang Cheongnongwon 💜 The entrance fee was cheap at 3,000 won, and the parking lot was large and well-maintained, so I had a good time And it was bigger than I thought, so I was surprised! Actually, I thought it would be small and focused on the photo zone, but the lavender was full all the way up there. It was so big that I only took pictures from the bottom. 👍 There was also a large cafe at the entrance to the lavender field, and it looked clean like a newly built building. I made a reservation and visited this place while visiting my grandmother's house, and it was so much better than I expected, so I'm sharing it. ✔️Sangha Farm, located in Gochang, Jeollabuk-do At the farm, I was able to feed horses, pigs, goats, sheep, and other animals up close. There was a spacious lawn and plenty of space for children to run around. There was also a brick-oven pizza place and a Korean restaurant, both of which were renowned for their delicious food. Farmer's Cafe also has a lavender Sangha ice cream, which is only available here. I highly recommend trying it. There were plenty of places to take amazing photos, and there were more activities and things to do than I expected. The barley stretches forever, and when the wind blows, it creates this ripple effect that’s super calming to watch. Honestly, I didn’t expect grass to be this aesthetic, but here we are. The walking paths are super chill, winding through the fields so you can really soak it all in. Plus, there are cute little photo zones and random art installations that pop up along the way. If you’re into that countryside slow-living vibe, this spot is a whole mood. Best time to go is late spring when everything’s peak green and the weather’s juuust right. It’s the kind of place where you end up walking slower without even realizing it. Bring a picnic, your sunnies, and maybe a floppy hat for that main character moment.
