Dray Nur Waterfall, also known as the “Female Waterfall,” is a captivating natural wonder located approximately 25 kilometers south of Buôn Ma Thuột City in Đắk Lắk Province, Vietnam. Formed by the confluence of the Krông Ana and Krông Nô rivers, it is part of the Serepok River system that traverses the Central Highlands. The waterfall spans over 250 meters in length and cascades from a height exceeding 30 meters, creating a majestic and poetic scene amidst the lush surroundings.  
Legends and Cultural Significance
Dray Nur Waterfall is steeped in local folklore. One legend tells of a tragic love story between a couple from rival villages who, unable to be together, leapt into the river, prompting a storm that split the river and separated the communities. Another tale speaks of a water deity’s son, Nur, who transformed into a golden dragonfly to return to his underwater palace, never to come back, leading locals to name the waterfall after him.

• Cave Exploration: Discover the nearly 3,000 square meter cave located behind the waterfall, offering a unique perspective and thrilling experience.

• Entrance Fee: 40,000 VND (as of 2025). 
• Opening Hours: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 
• Best Time to Visit: Between February and May, when the weather is dry, and the waterfall splits into multiple gentle streams, creating picturesque views. 
• Getting There: From Buôn Ma Thuột, visitors can take a motorbike or catch bus number 13 towards Krông Nô, which stops near the waterfall’s entrance.
