I booked a joint ticket on Koh Phangan on the fast ferry with Lomprayah. The cost from the island to Donsak and shuttle to Surat Thani Airport was 950 Bhat or about $30 USD (200 CNY). It's a good idea to buy this a few days before your flight. Then you check in about an hour before departure time. For myself this was 10am. The ferry leaves at 11:OO. We made our way to Donsak pier with a short stop in Samui. This seemed to take just over an hour and half. Depending on passengers loading and off loading you should arrive around 2:30 pm. We were a little slower on a big bus so arrived closer to 3pm. My flight was at 6 so plenty of time, but I would advise giving yourself ample connection time. The bus ride from Donsak Pier in Surat Thani Airport was the longer less comfortable part with no bathroom stops. Otherwise, still the faster way to fly out of the area. Surat Thani Airport has modernised a bit and departures are up on the second floor.#mytripvlog

Donsak Pier, I must say, I really like this memory. But I don't know if it's just the feeling I got from riding the bus. The feeling of sleeping on the bus and waking up is the image of the bustling city. The morning sun contrasting with the water is so beautiful. Just stepping on the pier is heavenly. The staff provided good service in a southern accent. When I got on the boat, I was afraid of the sun and hid because the only thing I couldn't ignore was the sea.

Koh Rat is a small island that is a fishing community. On the island, there are many homestays and restaurants. To get here, you have to cross the island via the Chalermsirirat Bridge, which is a sea bridge built by King Rama IX to help the villagers have a transportation route. (Sometimes during festivals, cars may be closed to cross the island, but you can park your car on the shore and rent a car to cross the island.) Seeing pink dolphins near Don Sak Pier, travelled from Khanom, rented a long tail boat, just 2 of us and had the best guide. The entrance fee for adults is 80 baht per person. Inside, there are horses to ride for an additional 50 baht. There is archery. The staff are very kind and friendly, giving good advice. There is a little white sheep following you the whole time like a tour guide, but the guide cried out for milk very often, haha. I bought several bottles of milk for the sheep, but I had to give in because it was so cute and followed you the whole time. Another thing I like is that the little horse's nose is very soft and bouncy. I let you ride it and it wasn't naughty at all. Overall, it's very good and worth the price.
