The hotel is in a very good location, close to Zurich Main Train Station, which makes travel very convenient and only a short drive back and forth. There are also many attractions nearby, including the FIFA headquarters, Zurich Zoo, etc. Overlooking the lake and enjoying the beautiful scenery, everything is within reach. As soon as you arrive at the hotel, you will be attracted by its unique location and distinctive design. 🏞The hotel is located on the edge of Limmatquai, like a work of art combining modern and classic styles. The reception was super welcoming and the check-in process was smooth and professional. The room is spacious and well-planned, reflecting comfort and ease everywhere. The hotel has complete facilities, from restaurants to cafes, or room service, which add a lot of surprises to the journey. Especially the room, which is equipped with a modern small terrace to enjoy the scenery, is really comfortable. Of course, there is also the friendly and considerate service team, who always listen patiently and solve problems quickly, making you feel at home. Regarding the experience of staying in the hotel, the comfort of the room is really good. The bed is large and spacious, allowing you to sleep until you wake up naturally. Although it feels a bit old, it is still well maintained overall. There are only some minor issues, such as some problems with the TV signal, but it did not affect the overall stay experience. When it comes to eating, drinking and having fun in the surrounding area, you certainly can’t miss the German pork knuckle from the Armory Cellar, the smoked salmon from August and the Swiss specialties from Zunfthaus zur Zimmerleuten. I recommend you to try it! If time permits, the nearby Dragon View Tandem paragliding, Zurich free tours, and various small shops and restaurants are all good choices. However, let's talk about the hotel's minor shortcomings. If it weren't for the introduction, it would not be easy for us to find them. For example, you have to carry your large luggage up from a farther tram station by yourself, but it can be considered as exercise. Also, although the view from the top of the mountain is great, it is a little far from the city center. Oh and the air conditioning in some rooms seemed to be weak, which was a challenge, especially in the hot summer. Overall, this trip to Zurich was made even more perfect by staying at the Sorell Hotel.
