A retro boutique hotel in Zurich's Old Town!

Located in the center of Zurich's Old Town, Marktgasse Hotel is located at Marktgasse 17, with many convenient transportation points nearby. It is about a 10-minute walk from Zurich Central Station, making it a very convenient location. Nearby Casa Bar, Edi's Weinstube, and C.P. First Bar are must-visit places for bar lovers. The location of this hotel is impeccable, surrounded by historical sites, making it feel like living in a historical museum. The hotel is in the center of the Old Town, very close to major restaurants and shops. The interior decoration of the hotel is a perfect combination of retro and modern styles, full of Scandinavian simplicity and elegance. The hotel is well-equipped, and in addition to relaxing at the bar, the hotel rooms also offer free tea and coffee. During this stay, the staff was very friendly and gave us a lot of travel advice, and the hotel's reception service was impeccable. Our room was small but very cozy, with a minimalist feel. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well at night. The room we stayed in this time also had a balcony with a view of the street. The bathroom and toilet are well-equipped, with 24-hour hot water and a hairdryer. Highly recommend the Aesop bath products, which smell very relaxing. The hotel's breakfast is also excellent, especially the boiled eggs and pastries from the Vienna Dessert Station, and if you don't mind, you can even pack them as snacks. Such a breakfast experience is not available everywhere. There are many highly recommended restaurants around the hotel, such as August and Zunfthaus zur Zimmerleuten, which offer very good Western food. If you are a fan of Western food, this is a place you can't miss. The nearby Rathaus tram stop makes it very convenient for us to travel. However, it should be noted that although the location of the hotel is excellent, it can be a bit noisy at night, especially with bar patrons drinking and chatting on the street until the early hours of the morning. If you are a guest who is particularly concerned about quietness, this may need to be considered.
