Znojemské historické vinobraní (Znojmo Historical Wine Harvest Festival).

The festival runs for three days (for 2025: 12–14 September) in the centre of Znojmo.  • It commemorates the arrival of King John of Luxembourg (in historical reenactment) into the town in 1327.  • The programme includes: • A grand parade with hundreds of people in period costumes.  • Medieval markets and a military camp.  • Knight tournaments and historical fencing.  • Wine tasting (especially young wine / burčák) and local food.  • Firesworks at night. ✅ Why it’s worth going • It combines wine culture (Znojmo is in a wine-region) with historical reenactment, so it’s more than just a food & drink event. • The setting is the charming old town of Znojmo, giving the event a very atmospheric feel. • If you like wine, food, history and a lively festival atmosphere in a smaller town (vs big city crowds), it’s a good choice. .#europe #znojmo #czechrepublic
