If it weren't for seeing it with my own eyes, it would be hard to imagine that the northwestern province of Shaanxi could have such an exquisite side! This is Donghe Town in Ziyang County, Ankang City, Shaanxi Province. Some time ago, we embarked on a self-driving tour of the 'Qinba No.1 Highway' in Ankang, and during the journey from Langao County to Ziyang County, we encountered a small town along the river—Donghe Town. Donghe Town is a typical 'water wharf', located in a very special position, where two of the more representative rivers in Ziyang County—the Ru River and Donghe River—meet the Han River. The confluence of 'two rivers and one river' not only brings a wide expanse of water but also gives the town an open and broad temperament of vast river waves and unobstructed access in all directions. ❤️ In Donghe, you can buy a boat ticket and take a boat for dozens of kilometers to Ziyang County town, and the ticket costs only 5 yuan per person. ❤️ You can also, like us, park your car at the 'Xiyinpanliang Ferry' on National Highway 541, take a boat across the Han River to Donghe Town on the north bank, and a single trip only costs 2 yuan per person. ❤️ For those who like to play a bit wilder, you can charter a boat or take a speedboat. The prices are very reasonable, the scenery is very pristine, and the cost-performance ratio is very high. If you have the chance to drive on the 'Qinba No.1 Highway' in Ankang, be sure to leave time for 'Donghe Town'.
