Zigong Aiye Shatang Peninsula Salt-seeking Journey

For the first time, I followed the Xushui River upstream from Aiye Pingkang Weir, and unexpectedly it turned into a salt-seeking journey on the Shatang Dam Peninsula. In history, this area was once full of well stoves, with abundant wells, Dawang wells, Baoshan wells, brine pools, salt drying dams, etc. The locals are like treasures. Many old houses on the peninsula have obvious marks of well stoves. Due to the low water level, you can see the appearance of the Xushui River in the past. The old pier on the river has weathered and indistinguishable steles. Standing on the hillside, you can overlook the Dongyuan well sky car across the river.
