【Xuejingtang】A wonderful fusion of Chinese and Western architectural elements

#朱海景点 I had the honor to visit the Xuejingtang in Zhuhai, which was an unforgettable cultural journey. Xuejingtang is located at No. 64 Shanfang Road, Tangjia Village, Tangjia Bay. Built in 1911, the Xuejing Hall faces northwest and southeast. It consists of three parts: the main building, the annex and the garden, with a hard roof and a brick-wood mixed structure. There is a two-story main building and a two-story annex. The courtyard is located between the main building and the annex. This historic building is one of the best-preserved Chinese-Western architectural styles in Tangjiawan Town. It was announced as an immovable cultural relic of Zhuhai High-tech Zone in 2011, and was announced as an immovable cultural relic of Zhuhai City in 2012. When I entered Xuejing Hall, I was attracted by its unique architectural style. It skillfully combines traditional Chinese architecture with Western elements, showing a unique charm. The courtyard is beautiful and relaxing. Visiting Xuejingtang not only gave me a deeper understanding of the historical value of this building, but also allowed me to feel its cultural charm. This trip has given me a deeper understanding and appreciation of Zhuhai’s cultural relics, and has also inspired my passion for protecting and inheriting traditional architecture. All in all, visiting Xuejingtang was an inspiring cultural experience. Its architectural style gave me a better understanding of the local history and culture.
