Yuanbai Zhongwei is the last of the 11 guesthouses in the Yellow River Suji. Located in the desert oasis, it is a place full of aesthetic art and a place to heal the soul. The exterior continues the rammed earth architectural design of the Yellow River Suji, bringing the thick northwest style from the outside in and connecting the entire space with time as the clue. Inside, the design cleverly incorporates local cultural elements from Ningxia. The red walls and handmade red floor tiles are particularly striking, with the main color extracted from the local red sandstone, subtly revealing personality without being ostentatious. The 11 rooms are named after the 11 states of the Western Xia Dynasty. The overall layout of the rooms is warm and functional, with warm handmade bricks, sawtooth wood floors, and linen sofa cushions and curtains, creating a comfortable home-like atmosphere. The most important sleeping area, the bed, is designed with a tatami-style sofa and bed frame, which is easy to move and flexible to meet the needs of different people. A large rattan chandelier hangs by the bed, providing a warm and relaxing view of the northwest scenery outside the window. After a long journey to Zhongwei, Ningxia, you want more than just a comfortable room. A spiritual home is also a modern pursuit. Yuanbai has a "Kongshan Jiutie," which combines a bookstore, tea space, and café. It is like the cultural living room of the entire Suji, where the founder has brought the best publishing institutions to the countryside and provided a space for thinking and dialogue.
