Clouds and Dreams Between Mountains and Seas

Day 1: Gradual Ascent to Mountain Beauty In the early morning, I arrived at Litoujian Mountain in Zhongshan. This peak attracts countless visitors with its unique shape and natural scenery. At the foot of the mountain, the canopy of trees blocks out the sun, birds chirp, and the air carries a faint earthy scent. As I ascended the winding mountain path, the scenery became increasingly magnificent with the height, with bamboo and ancient trees interwoven on both sides. At the mountainside, looking back, the entire valley comes into view, with the continuous mountain range and distant villages complementing each other. By noon, I stopped at the viewing platform at the summit to enjoy a simple packed lunch. The cool breeze brushed my face, and the distant mountain-sea junction appeared hazy, as if I were in a painting. Day 2: Rural Fields and Leisurely Strolls The next day, I chose to explore the village near the foot of the mountain. The rural scenery in the village was enchanting, with blooming flowers along the field ridges and endless rice paddies forming a natural picture. In the afternoon, I strolled through the village's alleys, where the simple life of the local residents was evident everywhere. Their warmth and smiles made me feel very welcome. As the sun set, the golden afterglow bathed the entire village, leaving me with the last memory of the day. This two-day journey offered both the grandeur of mountain climbing and the tranquility of rural life, seemingly providing complete release for the soul.
