Explore the Beauty of Ancient Architecture | Zhengding Ancient City, Shijiazhuang.

Low-key treasure ancient city "Zhengding", China's open-air ancient architecture museum, visited many times by Mr. Liang Sicheng, with many ancient buildings included in his book "A History of Chinese Architecture". Longxing Temple, which has six national records, was built in the sixth year of the Kaihuang period of the Sui Dynasty. It is a rare and well-preserved large-scale Buddhist temple complex from the Song Dynasty. The inverted Guanyin on the colorful hanging sculpture of the Mani Hall is elegant, dignified, and serene, and was called the "Oriental Goddess of Beauty" by Mr. Lu Xun. Although the face has been restored and is no longer the original, it is still stunning to see in person. The four temple pagodas are also of different shapes and are magnificent. With Mr. Liang Sicheng's "A History of Chinese Architecture", I explored Chinese ancient architecture in depth for the first time and was amazed and impressed by the aesthetics and craftsmanship of ancient Chinese architecture.
