Stay at Jinjiang, Explore Daimei Ancient Town

In the long journey of travel, seeking a peaceful place with ancient charm and encountering a meeting across time is a beautiful dream in countless hearts. When I chose to check in at Jinjiang Inn, I began a wonderful encounter with Daimei Ancient Town. Jinjiang Inn is like a warm harbor on a journey. Stepping into the room, the clean bed and soft lighting reveal the warmth of home in every detail. The staff's friendly smiles and attentive service made me feel cared for even in an unfamiliar city. Here, I shed the fatigue of travel and recharged for the upcoming ancient town visit. With anticipation, I arrived at Daimei Ancient Town. As soon as I entered, it felt like traveling back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. The uniform Southern Fujian ancient houses with red brick tiles and white walls, their swallow-tail ridges rising high like birds about to take flight, appeared especially vibrant against the blue sky. The ancient houses were arranged in an orderly fashion, with intersecting alleys connecting them tightly, like a huge maze waiting for people to explore its mysteries. Walking slowly along the alleys, the stone paths made crisp sounds beneath my feet, as if telling the ancient town's long history. On the doors and windows of the old houses, exquisite wood, stone, and brick carvings displayed birds, insects, fish, and character stories so vividly that one couldn't help but admire the ancient craftsmen's superb skills. Occasionally, Southern Fujian songs drifting from an old house added a unique charm to the ancient town. In the center of the town stands an ancient ancestral hall, solemn and dignified. Inside, ancestral tablets are enshrined, with portraits and honorary plaques of generations hanging on the walls. Here, I felt the strong family culture and the power of tradition, as if seeing ancestors gathering for ceremonies and discussions. Leaving the ancestral hall, I came to a pond outside the village. Green lotus leaves covered the water surface, with pink lotus flowers standing gracefully. When the breeze passed, the leaves rustled and the flowers swayed gently like dancing fairies. In the distance, the mountains formed a beautiful backdrop with the ancient houses and pond, creating a poetic rural landscape. As the sun set, golden rays shone on every corner of the ancient town, dressing the old houses in golden veils. I left Daimei Ancient Town reluctantly, but its beautiful scenery and unique charm remained deeply imprinted in my mind. And Jinjiang Inn will continue to provide a warm shelter for every traveler, waiting for more people to begin their wonderful journeys.
