Zhangpu Huxi Lantingzhen Mansion

Lantingzhen Mansion: "Dingtan New City" and "Courtyard City" Lantingzhen Mansion is located in Dingtan Village, Huxi She Nationality Township. The buildings around the mansion are like city walls, and the mansion is built with earth buildings, forming a courtyard city pattern, so it is called "Dingtan New City" and "Courtyard City". This is the former residence of Lan Tingzhen and Lan Yuanmei, two famous generals of the Fujian Navy, built at the end of the Kangxi period and completed in the fifth year of Yongzheng (1727), with a history of nearly 300 years. In 2013, it was listed as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units. Lantingzhen Mansion is an ancient castle-style mansion. The gate of the mansion faces east, facing the East China Sea, conveying the deep feelings and historical ties of the owner of the mansion to Taiwan on the other side. A pair of bluestone drums on both sides of the gate are 1.5 meters high, and the drum surface is engraved with exquisite reliefs of birds, beasts, pines, cypresses, flowers, and plants. On the doorpost above the bluestone drum, there is a couplet engraved with "Fulu'er in the morning, Taoist Creek is like Guanle; set the eastern capital in seven days, and the garrison machine can be compared to Sun Wu." It tells the historical achievements of Lan Tingzhen in pacifying and governing Taiwan.
