A must-visit sacred place! Tianmen Mountain blew me away.

Visit Tianmen Cave and Tianmenshan Temple, then head to Yunmeng Fairy Peak. -Uphill and downhill strategy -Uphill: Take a bus from the cable car station to the Tianmen Mountain gate, then take cable car line B uphill. -Downhill: Take the cable car from Yunmeng Fairy Peak, passing through villages and the city, arriving back at the cable car station in the city. Tianmen Cave Plaza -Easily accessible on foot after taking the cable car uphill. It offers stunning views and is a must-see spot on the way to Tianmen Cave. -A cave through the mountain, often featuring the "Tianmen Spitting Mist" spectacle. Climb the 999 steps to the top, or take the 7-level escalator through the mountain to Tianmen Fanshui, the dividing point between the east and west lines. -There are multiple scenic spots, tickets cost CNY 5. Shoe covers are provided at the entrance. Photos at the end require an additional fee. Walking on the glass walkway is thrilling, with a sheer drop below. 💥Important Notes -Travel route: Get a map at the visitor center or refer to the official WeChat account for route planning. If you have limited physical strength, you can choose to pay for the escalator or cable car through the mountain. -Supplies: Bring your own water and food before going uphill, as prices on the mountain are higher. Also, some people sell shoe covers at the foot of the mountain—don't buy them, they're completely unnecessary. -Recommended attractions: Tianmen Mountain is a must-see attraction in Zhangjiajie. The entire tour is a fantastic experience and definitely worth a visit. If you have time, I highly recommend visiting Wulingyuan, Furong Town, and Fenghuang Ancient City. Each place has its own unique charm and can add a different kind of excitement to your trip.
