Zhangjiagang Dongdu Temple

Zhangjiagang Dongdu Park: The legendary place where Jianzhen embarked on his journey east. This is where the Tang Dynasty monk Jianzhen successfully set sail on his sixth eastward journey to Japan. Dongdu Temple was built in 1994 with the approval of the Zhangjiagang Municipal People's Government. The temple looks very new and is well-constructed, but there are few tourists. Due to time constraints, I didn't visit the Jianzhen Eastward Journey Memorial Hall. The entrance fee is 10 yuan.
