The Matterhorn, in particular, seemed to change slightly depending on the angle, capturing a new charm with every photo. The train ride up to Gornergrat was also captivating. Watching the snow-capped mountains and snow-covered valleys gradually approach through the window made my heart race, and the chilly air that greeted me upon reaching the summit added to the specialness of the trip. The moment the Matterhorn was clearly visible in person was even more magnificent than in photos, and it had a powerfully liberating effect.
