Taierzhuang Ancient City Trip Report | Late-night compiled guide shared with everyone

| Sharing my meticulously prepared travel guide. After being intrigued by friends' recommendations about Taierzhuang Ancient City for so long, we finally visited! Here's my complete travel experience～ How to get there: 🚉 After arriving at Zaozhuang Station, take a taxi directly to Taierzhuang (carpooling is cheaper - we paid ¥90 for two people plus ¥60 for an additional passenger. Solo travelers may pay more. The journey takes about 1 hour to reach the ancient city's South Gate (Huidiji). ❗️IMPORTANT: Remember to book return tickets in advance! Never book only one-way tickets❗️ 🏦 Accommodation: We pre-booked 【Sky City Hotel】 located near the ancient city's South Gate. Just about 100 meters after the ticket checkpoint, it's only 3 minutes from Revival Square. The hotel offers a quiet environment at night with excellent soundproofing, away from the main street noise. The lakeside views make for perfect photo opportunities. 🥣 Food in the ancient city: We chose the top-rated 【Huajiadi Art Restaurant】 from online reviews for dinner. The restaurant boasts excellent decor, delicious food at reasonable prices, and a far superior ambiance compared to other options!! Their small courtyard was particularly delightful for dining in May's pleasant weather. 🎭 Performances in the ancient city: ✔️ 10:00 - Emperor Qianlong's Tour of Taierzhuang (West Gate → Tianhou Temple → Dayamen Street → West Gate) 📝 Note: (Not just weekend performances!) ✔️ Canal Old Street performances include some interactive elements; ✔️ After the Iron Fireworks show, take a boat to East Gate for either the Welcoming Show or Shuiyue·Yin. The Welcoming Show's light display focuses on the 1938 war, different from West Gate's projection show (I personally prefer West Gate). ✔️ The Iron Fireworks (traditional iron-smelting sparks) show draws huge crowds. For better viewing spots, you might need to skip the Boat Street light show. The best viewing area is the small path between Huajiantang and Taizhou Island with fewer people. ✔️ We missed the Boat Street light show, Jianghu variety shows, and Battle of Taierzhuang reenactment. For Jianghu performances, check the Tianqi Temple stage at 14:00 or 17:00. The ancient city's night view is breathtakingly beautiful, offering a completely different atmosphere from daytime. Don't miss the evening paddle boat ride 🛶 - gliding through the ancient waterways with shimmering lights reflecting on the water, accompanied by the boatwoman's beautiful singing, creates an utterly magical experience～
