First Time Snowboarding at Gala Yuzawa! ❄️🏂 They say you never forget your first time—especially when it involves tumbling down a snowy slope more times than you can count! Today was my very first snowboarding experience, and what better place to do it than at Gala Yuzawa, one of Japan’s most famous ski resorts? From the moment I stepped off the Shinkansen and saw the breathtaking snowy landscape, I knew this was going to be an unforgettable adventure. After renting my gear and getting suited up, I nervously made my way to the beginner slopes. The first few attempts? Let’s just say gravity wasn’t on my side. Falling was inevitable, but each time I got back up, determined to improve. Snowboarding is definitely not as easy as it looks! Balancing on the board, controlling my speed, and figuring out how to stop (without crashing) were all challenges—but the thrill of gliding down the slope, even for a few seconds, made all the struggles worth it. The fresh mountain air, the stunning winter scenery, and the rush of adrenaline—it was pure magic! By the end of the day, I was exhausted but beyond happy. I may not be a pro yet, but this was just the beginning of my snowboarding journey. Would I do it again? Absolutely! If you’re thinking of trying snowboarding, don’t be afraid to start!
