Autumn Quest for "My Hometown": Encountering the Hidden Paradise in My Heart at Yuyao Guanyun People often say they want to find a "hidden paradise," but it wasn’t until I came to Yuyao and visited Wuxiang·Guanyun that I understood the meaning of "My Hometown." This guesthouse, nestled at 600 meters above sea level in the Siming Mountains, is surrounded by fifty acres of forest. Looking up, 280 peaks bloom like blue lotuses in the sky; looking down, 36 streams flow through the woods, washing over stones. Every corner exudes the spirit of nature. The guesthouse in autumn is stunningly beautiful—the fruit trees on the mountainside shed their green youth, with chestnuts and pomegranates hanging full on the branches. Walking along the mountain trails, you can easily pick ripe fruit. The five viewing platforms each have their own charm; some offer a full view of Lianghui Reservoir, others overlook the entire valley’s autumn scenery. Standing there, it feels as if the whole world has quieted down. The room’s amenities are full of thoughtful details: mountain spring water from a direct drinking system, a custom hairdryer, minibar—every detail shows care. At night, lying in bed without city light pollution, the starry sky outside the window is clearly visible. Listening to the wind in the mountains as I fall asleep, even my dreams are sweet. Here, I finally found that peaceful and warm "My Hometown" in my heart.
