Kengo Kuma Architecture: Yusuhara Roadside Station

Yusuhara, Kochi Prefecture, is home to the town's station 'Yusuhara' (Marche Yusuhara), which combines the sale of local specialties with a hotel. On the first floor, there are shops selling fresh vegetables and local specialties from Yusuhara, and in the back, there is a restaurant where you can enjoy lunch. The upper floors are a hotel. The exterior of this town station is incredibly stylish! Designed by Kengo Kuma, the building stands out as you drive through the town.
