The scenic area mainly has three major attractions. 1️⃣ Jiuqu Yunhuan Viewing Platform, mainly for viewing the full view of the terraces, and the best position for terrace sunrise. 2️⃣ Silver Valley, mainly a ancient village called Kenggen Village located in the terraces. Take the cable car there, and walk down a 2700m Wudong Waterfall Trail with excellent scenery along the way. At the bottom of the valley is Kenggen Stone Fort, an ancient village that retains the complete appearance of an old village. 3️⃣ Qixing Dun Viewing Platform, where you can also see the terraces, but the position is not as good as Jiuqu Yunhuan, it's just another angle to view the terraces. People set up tents at Qixing Dun Viewing Platform to watch the starry sky, and with some luck, you can see a sea of clouds the next morning. ‼️ Terrace Sea of Clouds Sunrise Strategy ✅ The sunrise time is different every day, check the sunrise time in advance, and arrive at the Jiuqu Yunhuan sunrise sea of clouds viewing platform half an hour earlier. For those who can get up early, it is recommended to arrive 45min earlier, and then you can slowly enjoy the changing sky light of sunrise❗️ ✅ If it rains the day before, the probability of a sea of clouds appearing the next day will be much higher. ✅ If there is a sea of clouds, when the sun rises, you can fly a drone to see the sea of clouds terraces from above, which is really beautiful. ✅ Before the sun rises, the light is very soft, and you can see the terraces, sea of clouds, and morning glow. ✅ After the sun slowly rises, the light becomes stronger, you can go down to the paddy fields, and use the golden hour of sunrise light to take beautiful terrace portraits. ✅ The entire Yunhe Terraces scenic area is more relaxed with cable car + sightseeing car tours, but if you are physically fit, you can also choose to drive to a parking lot near the attraction and choose to hike up the mountain. ✅ Yunhe Terraces tickets are valid for 2 days, so you don't have to rush when touring. ✅ In addition to natural scenery, local special performances such as Terrace Auspicious Dragon, She Ethnic Group Wedding Performance, Flower Drum Opera, etc. are also worth watching.
