Divided into outer, middle, and inner courtyards, it features a mosque with intricate muqarnas vaults, a ceremonial Seljuk-style tomb for the family (octagonal with geometric motifs), grand reception halls, baths, kitchens, and servants' quarters. Stone carvings depict floral, animal, and geometric patterns, while fountains once flowed with milk and honey for guests. The harem's crown gate dazzles with Rococo flourishes. Damaged in 19th-century Russo-Ottoman wars—looted artifacts now grace Russian museums—it was further scarred during the 1930 Ararat Rebellion.
