We stayed at a detached inn surrounded by forest, in the inner sanctum of Yufuin.

Sanso Muryata The last stop on our tour of the three great Yufuin hotels was Muryata. The guest rooms are separate, and on the premises there is a cafe/bar, an art museum, and a select shop. As soon as we checked in, we went to the art museum. There was a cute chocolate shop next to it, so we bought some as souvenirs 💕 They all looked delicious, so it was hard to choose (apple, lemon, and fig chocolates).
