💬 Fukuoka Trip 2025 — Light-hearted travel but heavy on impressions 🇯🇵🫶 2 days in Kyushu without chasing landmarks, but with a lot of good feelings to take home with you 💼💛 🗓️ Day 1: Chikugo Regional Park This morning, we left Fukuoka for Chikugo – a small city that is almost nowhere in anyone’s plans, but let me tell you… it’s so good 🍃 Walking into Chikugo Regional Park, I knew that today would be the lightest day of the trip 🌳 The park is very large, with rivers, lawns, walking paths, cycling, or even picnic mats. We stopped to eat the bento box we bought from the train station before entering. While watching the river and clouds move slowly, it felt like time really slowed down. There are many beautiful photo spots, especially the wooden bridge with the river view with grass swaying in the wind – the best mood 🍂 In the afternoon, we continued walking to a small gallery and souvenir shop from local crafts. Supporting handmade products is so heartwarming ✨ 🗓️ Day 2: Yufuin — The dream hot spring town This is a town that everyone should visit at least once in their life… I tell you 🥹💦 We took the train from Fukuoka for about 2 hours. The view along the way was beautiful in a truly rural Japanese style, green all over 🌾 As soon as we arrived at Yufuin Station, the mood changed immediately — it's a small town surrounded by mountains, wooden buildings, cute cafes, and local sweet shops. It felt like we were in a Studio Ghibli movie set 🌸 🍮 Walked to eat hot grilled mochi 🛍️ Stopped by to see handmade woodwork 📸 And ended by walking to Kinrin Lake, where the water reflected the sky beautifully until it was quiet for a moment 🌅 Before going back, we stopped to soak our feet in a roadside hot spring (free!). It was a little bit satisfying, but it was really great ♨️ 📌 Summary of the 2-day Fukuoka trip 2 days, 2 vibes — The first day was local nature like "When you're free, the world is light." 🍃 Day 2 of a fantasy world in a lovely Japanese village ♨️ No need to rush to travel, no need to go through it until you're tired.
