Top Ten Bowls opens in Yuen Long

Recently, I was bored and turned on YouTube, where I saw Ricky San reviewing several top wonton noodle specialty shops in Hong Kong. It made me crave noodles, and I really wanted to make a bowl. One of the shops is Top Ten Bowls, which has a branch in Yuen Long. Since I have to go to Yuen Long to watch a show in a few days, I decided to go early and have a bowl of noodles. At these noodle shops, the pickled radish on the table is often the star. It's sour, sweet, crisp, and refreshing, perfect for whetting the appetite. I can eat several plates and still want more. The traditional way of serving wonton noodles is with the wontons at the bottom and the golden noodles on top, which to some extent reflects the chef's skill. As usual, I first took a sip of the soup, which had the aroma of dried flounder and the fresh scent of chives. The noodles were crisp and had no annoying alkaline taste, indicating they were well-prepared. The wontons, on the other hand, were rather large, with a shrimp-to-pork ratio of 9:1. I would prefer a bit more pork. My dad ordered his usual pig's trotters with rice noodles. The pig's trotters were tender, rich in collagen, flavorful, and not overly salty. However, he still prefers the pig's trotters from Sun Tai Kwong. Drinking milk tea in such places feels a bit silly; next time, I'll stick to cola. The Yuen Long branch doesn't serve fried dough sticks, otherwise, I would have ordered a plate.
