[○] Cangshan, also known as Yushan in ancient times, is a mountain where Cheng Ying, a righteous man from the State of Jin, hid with Zhao Wu, an orphan of the Zhao family, for 15 years during the Spring and Autumn Period more than 2,600 years ago. To commemorate their loyalty, later generations named it Cangshan and built a temple to worship them. [○] The mountains are rich in vegetation, with shady trees and fresh air that makes people feel relaxed and happy. Walking along the winding mountain road, you can hear the sound of gurgling streams, as if nature is playing a beautiful piece of music for you. [○] Zangshan is located in the western foot of Taihang Mountain. It is a place with thousands of peaks, unique beauty, towering pines and cypresses, and a miraculous creation. The scenery here is pleasant all year round. The ancient temple buildings, platforms, palaces, halls and pavilions are built against the mountain walls. The layout is exquisite and the scenery complements each other. It is known as the first famous mountain in eastern Shanxi. [○] The Zangshan Temple has more than 30 pavilions and buildings, built along the mountain. It consists of the Wenzi Temple, the Sleeping Palace, the Combing Tower, the Zanggu Cave, the Bayi Temple, the Qizhong Temple, and the Baoen Temple. The overall building complex is magnificent.
