White Pagoda Temple

【Information】 🎫Free admission 🕰️Recommended visit duration: 1 hour 🚗Parking available on both sides of the road in front of the temple . 【Environment】 🌸The temple is built on the foundation of the only remaining Liao Dynasty white pagoda (see photos 11, 12). The three most prominent towering white pagodas are currently not open to the public (see photo 2). 🐉Inside the Mahavira Hall, several craftsmen are painting and carving statues. The two dragon columns in front of the hall are beginning to take shape, already hinting at their grand and splendid appearance (see photo 14). 📸Once the construction is complete, it is definitely worth another visit. . 【📖History】 ⛰️The White Pagoda Temple, also known as Longquan White Pagoda Temple, is named after a legend. It is said that there was once a sea eye here, with water gushing out continuously, flooding the village. A high monk pointed to a white pagoda on the Jade Emperor Peak of Mount Tai, chanted a spell, and the pagoda flew over to suppress the sea eye, saving the villagers. The temple dates back to the Liao Dynasty and was rebuilt by Abbot Huineng in 2000. It is also known as the Wishing Pagoda because the wishes of those who come to worship are often fulfilled. . 【Service】 🧢The temple is not very famous and is still under renovation, so there are very few visitors. 🍦Apart from an old man selling water and ice popsicles at the entrance, there are almost no other services for tourists.
