Pujiu Temple: The 'Love' Temple Blessed by the Ancient Tale of the Western Wing

📍Location: On the plateau of Xixiang Village, Puzhou Town, Yongji City, Yuncheng Area, Shanxi Province 👍️Must-visit Attraction: The love story of 'Hongniang tying the red thread under the moon, Zhang Sheng cleverly meeting Cui Yingying' from the Yuan Dynasty play 'The Romance of the Western Chamber' by Wang Shifu happened inside Pujiu Temple. (Thus, it is the only temple in China blessed with love.) The Yingying Tower inside the temple is the most worth visiting. It is ancient, magnificent, uniquely structured, and has a very interesting echo effect. It is said that if you knock on the side of the tower with a stone, the tower will emit a crisp and pleasant 'croak—croak—' frog sound.
