CANTINE | NEW ROOFTOP COFFEE & EATERY IN TIYASAN

Recently, we visited Cantine by Cendhani Raras, a coffee & eatery with a quite unique concept in the Tiyasan area of Sleman. Although it's a bit tucked away from the main road, you'll find it quite easily because its facade is truly eye-catching with decorative red brick walls towering high. Once you go up, there are 2 options of areas you can choose according to your needs. First, there's the indoor AC area with several proper seating options for studying and sofas for relaxing (it's really cool and comfortable in this room). The second area is the rooftop, which is really cool for enjoying the surrounding atmosphere from above. The furniture choices fit well with the concept, and the breeze is gentle. On clear days, you can even see Mount Merapi from afar. Additionally, the atmosphere is calm and not noisy. As for the menu, there are plenty of options to try, because it's a coffee & eatery concept, so you don't need to worry about getting hungry here. Yesterday, we tried the Teriyaki Beef Rice which was generously portioned, and we really liked the pickles that balanced the flavors.
