The most comfortable hotel on our Shanxi trip

Park Hyatt Hotel After visiting the Yingxian Wooden Pagoda and Jingtusi Temple, we checked into the Park Hyatt Hotel in the evening. This hotel has a good reputation in the local area. The lobby, guest rooms, and restaurant are all clean and comfortable. The staff are also very friendly, which helped us relax after our long road trip in Shanxi. Compared to the hotels we stayed at the previous two days, this hotel has the following features: 1. It is very smart. Each room has a smart speaker. You can just give a command to the speaker and it will meet your needs. If you are worried that older people may not be able to use the voice control function, the hotel has prepared a list of commands for you. You just need to say, "Xiao Ai, I'm going to sleep," and the lights will automatically dim. If you want to watch TV, the speaker will not only turn on the TV for you, but also help you choose a popular movie channel. The smart toilet in the bathroom is also very convenient. 2. The Chinese restaurant on the sixth floor serves Sichuan, Hunan, Cantonese, Shanxi, and fusion cuisine. The food is authentic, the portions are large, and the prices are cheap. We tried some local dishes in the restaurant as the sun set. We had cold noodles, Yingxian potato shreds with fresh bitter herbs, tofu in sour soup, bok choy with fresh yuba, Datong County meat and egg cake, Guangling millet potato strips, lamb soup with small dumplings, and white meat pie. The local specialties, such as millet, potatoes, and tofu, were prepared in a way that was new to us. The Guangling millet potato strips were especially delicious. The golden millet was attached to the potato strips, and they were very tasty. 3. This hotel not only welcomes tourists from all over the world, but is also a popular place for locals to hold wedding banquets. In the morning, we were about to go downstairs for breakfast when we saw some young men and women trying to push open a door, while the people inside were trying to keep it closed. What was going on? I looked at them in surprise. After a while, the people inside couldn't hold the door closed anymore, and the door suddenly opened. The people outside rushed in, and I saw people in bright clothes inside. I realized that they were following the local custom of picking up the bride. 4. The buffet breakfast at the hotel is a mix of Chinese and Western food, with a wide variety of dishes. The local staple foods, such as millet, corn, sweet potatoes, and yams, are very rich, and we learned about the main crops in Shanxi from the breakfast table. We didn't stay at this hotel for long, but it was the most comfortable hotel we stayed at on our trip to Shanxi.
