Zhenbeipu: Movie Studio & Ancient China Theme Park

#themeparks Yinchuan Huaxia Western Film and Television City or simply Zhenbeibu studio is located 13 kilometers from Yinchuan, on the banks of the Yellow River. In ancient times, this city of cinema and television was the barracks of soldiers of the Qing Dynasty and performed this function for more than 500 years. The ancient structure, which has been preserved to this day, makes it an ideal place for filming television series and films set in ancient times. In an attempt to replicate the prosperity of the Western Xia Dynasty, a new film and television base was built in 1993 in the region with King Hao Palace, Xiping Palace, Tiandu Castle and other structures, and a large-scale television series "Helan Snow" was filmed there jointly by Ningxia TV and CCTV (China Central Television). The cities of Ming and Qing were rebuilt from military garrison castles left over from the Ming and Qing dynasties. The outlines of the cities still preserve a unique picture outside the Great Wall of China in the Northwest. Walking around the neighborhood, visitors can personally get acquainted with the lifestyle, production methods and entertainment of the ancient Chinese, which creates a feeling of returning to ancient China. Basically, the Chinese Western Film Studio has three parts: Qing Dynasty City, Ming Dynasty City and Yinchuan Old Street.
