First time to Yilan, got to know another side of Taiwan 😅

#Yilan and Taipei are two worlds. It takes about 1 hour from Taipei to Yilan by train, and after getting off the train, it feels like you are going to a large town. The platform is not crowded, very quiet and feels very comfortable. ❤️❤️ This time we mainly visit #Headstone Town, the attractions are more concentrated. The most impressive thing is the Yilan Museum. The museum is located in the Ushi Harbor Wetland Park, which is home to many flora and fauna of the wetland ecology. From the outside the museum looks like it’s submerged in water, matching the view. 👏👏 The museum is divided into several floors, which introduce the weather, landscape, and human history of Yilan. Each exhibition area is introduced in depth. The most eye-catching thing is the giant fish fossil hanging in the pavilion. how long do you watch It's really a matter of opinion. Walking around the perimeter, I found that the entire pavilion blends into the natural environment of Yilan from the inside out. Although the history of the exhibition is a bit far from ours, it is worth visiting if you want to learn about Taiwan. After seeing the museum, walk to #Ushi Fishing Port for lunch. The fish market is very quiet on weekdays. You can buy seafood here and take it to the restaurant above to cook. Ordered several kinds of seafood at the restaurant, not expensive, with my favorite asparagus salad, 150 Taiwan dollars, a simple dish, as long as it is fresh, it is already good. Eat fried crab meat, squid, and sea mussels. # Traveling alone want to try everything, naturally eat more. 😅 The restaurant window overlooks #Turtle Mountain Island, out to sea a chance to see whales, that day a tight schedule did not go, plus to bet luck. 🐳 After lunch, wait for the bus to #Head CityBin Forest Park. The Octagon Watchtower in the park has a long history. Walk up the spiral staircase to get a panoramic view of the coastline and a clearer view of Kushan Island. Finally, reward yourself by going to #A-Zong Taro Ice Cream City for a taro ice cream. The ice cream is soft and tasty with a little taro powder. No wonder there are so many people queuing up. The biggest problem when traveling to Yilan is the transportation. There are not many buses, you have to watch the schedule, it is best to rent a car for a self-drive tour, which is more troublesome, but the atmosphere of Yilan feels absolutely excellent, worth it. Personally, I think there’s more to do than #Kaohsiung. #YilanCounty #YilanAttractions #FindYourTravelBackpack #Azong Taro Ice City

: 🏛️ The building itself is a work of art. Its exterior resembles a single-sided mountain by the sea. The museum's architecture is inspired by the "single-sided mountain" terrain of the Yilan coast. Its slanted, gray-black stone exterior is incredibly stylish, making it a must-see for Instagrammers. The reflecting pool creates a "mirror world" for photos. The shallow pool in front of the museum reflects the entire building, and many people squat to capture symmetrical shots, creating a truly cinematic experience. The ocean breeze blows through the atmosphere. The museum is located right next to Wushi Harbor, and the sound of the waves can be heard from afar. Visiting the museum feels like relaxing at sea—very chill! 🐚 Interactive fun in the exhibitions. Travel back in time to see Yilan's past and present. Exhibitions cover geology, indigenous culture, fishing village life, and modern changes, using numerous dioramas, vintage photos, and sound and light effects to create a storytelling experience. The interactive area is a favorite for children. There are interactive installations like simulated boating, shell handling, and ocean sound experiences. Kids won't want to leave, and adults will find their inner child too. The special exhibitions are always different. Sometimes they feature themes like owls, marine life, and nostalgic toys, which are full of surprises.
