Surfing at Waiao Beach

🚗 Getting There - Waiao Beach is located near a hot spring town called Jiaoxi, Taiwan. You can take a 13 minutes train ride from Jiaoxi Train station directly to Waiao Beach 🏝 that will cost you TW$15. There is only one train an hour so make sure to check the schedule first. 🏄‍♀️ Attractions - Surfing, surfing, surfing! There are dozens of surf board rentals available on the beach where you can also book a surf lesson. Lifeguards don’t let you in the sea unless you’ve got a surfboard. 🚶‍♀️ Walking along Waiao beach is beautiful, you can walk on the sand as well as the boardwalk. 🛹 if you’ve got one, bring along your skateboard or a longboard because Waiao Beach has a beautifully paved path along the beach with a smooth surface which is perfect for cruising on your longboard 🌊 🏨 Hotels - There are great hotels in Jiaoxi that have bathtubs because Jiaoxi is known as a hot spring town.
