A half-day trip can include a bike tour of Meihua Lake and feeding the deer at Bambi Hills. There's a free parking lot about 100 to 200 meters away. There's also a paid parking lot right in front of the entrance, but you can pay for convenience. You can purchase tickets online or on-site for 200 yuan each, which you can exchange for food to feed the deer. After purchasing your ticket, wait for your number to be called. After entering, you'll gather for a brief explanation of the park's environment and the details to pay attention to when feeding the deer. Afterwards, you can explore the area freely. You'll first be greeted by the Japanese-style garden and then see the capybaras. There aren't many capybaras here, but they seem very energetic and will run around! Then you can go into the deer area to exchange for food. Capybaras only eat leaves, while deer eat both. There's also a heart-shaped carrot underneath, so you can draw your own love fortune. The process is to first go to the caged deer area and ring the bell (or find your favorite one), then feed it a heart-shaped carrot (make sure you remember its name). Then, go to the lottery area, find the row of deer, and add up your birthdays to get the corresponding life number. This is your love lottery! ❤️ There are two donkeys near the entrance and exit, but you can't feed them. There's also a shower area at the exit, so remember to rinse your feet! 💩 After you exit, there's a photo opportunity, which the store will print out for you to take home as a souvenir. They also sell soft serve ice cream and souvenirs, so you can take your time exploring. I personally think the overall environment is much better than Zhang's Farm. The waiting area and feeding area are spacious, so it doesn't feel crowded.
