The accommodation prices are much more affordable compared to Taipei, and you can enjoy authentic hot spring water to cleanse your body and mind. For a hot spring lover like me, it's definitely the top choice 💯. 2. Since the Xueshan Tunnel officially opened on June 16, 2006, getting to Jiaoxi takes less than an hour, making transportation convenient and fast. 3. There are many local snacks and delicacies that you can't find in Taipei, making every trip an exciting culinary discovery. 4. Jiaoxi in Yilan offers a variety of options, from Instagram-worthy cafes for beautiful photos to farms with adorable animals for a healing experience. You can also enjoy nature by hiking, sweating, and absorbing phytoncides. The choices are diverse 👍. ISPAVITA Spa Villa 💜 Spacious and Luxurious Bathing Pools 😆 This time, I stayed in Room 301 on the 3rd floor. The room comes with two key cards, which are required for elevator access to the upper floors but not needed for going down to the first floor. The front desk service hours are from 11 AM to 7 PM, and you can inform them of your arrival time in advance for better preparation. The room is equipped with a refrigerator, tea and coffee packets, two bottles of mineral water, and even a dehumidifier (which many hot spring accommodations lack). The air conditioning can be adjusted to your preference, and indoor slippers are provided! I recommend cleaning the large bathtub with shower gel first and then filling it with water. Since the bathtub is quite large, it takes about 20 minutes to fill halfway. While waiting, you can take a shower. The shower area is spacious, with a dry and wet separation design, which is a big plus. The hot water is sufficiently hot, and cold water is also available. The villa thoughtfully provides shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, two large towels, and two small towels. Next to the bathtub, there’s a non-slip mat and a water ladle, which are essential for hot spring bathing. The mat ensures safety, and the ladle allows you to rinse your feet before entering the bath. A friendly reminder: To support environmental protection, toothpaste and toothbrushes are no longer provided, so please bring your own! The wooden flooring and room decor are beautiful 🎀, making the stay comfortable 💘. You can also control the water temperature for 'hot spring' and 'cold spring'♨💦. The hot spring water is Jiaoxi's famous "Beauty Spring" (sodium bicarbonate spring), while the cold spring water comes from the mountain spring of Wufengqi Waterfall, one of Lanyang's top ten scenic spots 👍. If you don’t want the water too hot, you can opt for cooler water 😘. After soaking in the hot spring, your skin feels smooth and soft 😘 (proving it's genuine hot spring water!). The room features large floor-to-ceiling windows and beautiful plants 🪴, creating a cozy atmosphere that’s truly captivating 🔥. Although the balcony cannot be opened, the room I stayed in this time offers a city view. During the day, you can pull back the curtains to let the sunlight in 🌞.
