Yilan, Zhang Mei Grandma Farm

Today, I was in Yilan with my kids, so I decided to visit an animal farm. I'd previously been to Bambi Hills to feed sika deer, and today I was at Grandma Zhang Mei's Farm. I saw online that there were more animals. With the ticket, you get a small handful of hay (not much), but I didn't see it could be purchased at your own expense. There are three areas. The first area is stunning, with alpacas, goats, and sika deer. The alpacas are so cute and amusing, and the goats are so docile and adorable. The sika deer are more common, so I wasn't very excited. The second area is small, with only capybaras and tortoises (I think). Recently, a handsome waiter offered leaves to feed the tortoises. 🍃 We quickly reached the third area, where you can take photos and check in to exchange for hay and mulberry leaves. There are capybaras, wallabies, muntjacs, and a type of pika (I forgot its actual name). The kids were thrilled because the animals are so small and adorable. We quickly fed them, and then my husband got to check in again and exchange hay and mulberry leaves for the animals. It's much more diverse here than at Bambi Hills. At the end, you can exchange the ticket for dim sum, such as scallion pancakes or red bean pancakes. The ticket price is 200 yuan, which is not bad. We arrived early in the morning when it opened and there were few people, so it was easy to take pictures. When we were about to leave at 11 o'clock, the crowds rushed in, so if you want to take a good photo, you have to wait.
