Jiexiu Mianshan - A Severely Underrated 5A Scenic Area❗️❗️ Mianshan in Shanxi is also known as Jieshan, named after Jie Zitui, a minister of the Jin State during the Spring and Autumn Period, who lived in seclusion with his mother and was burned to death. It is located on the north bank of the Fen River, 20 km from Jiexiu City, and spans the borders of Jiexiu, Lingshi, and Qinyuan. It has a maximum altitude of 2,566.6 m and a relative height of over 1,000 m. It is a branch of the Taiyue Mountains (Huoshan) extending northward.
