Xiling Gorge is located in the north of Zigui County, Yichang City, Hubei Province, with a total area of 142 square kilometers. It takes only a dozen minutes to drive north from Yichang City. Among the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, Xiling Gorge is located in the east, in the territory of Badong to Yichang in Hubei, starting from the Xiangxi River mouth in Zigui in the west and ending at Nanjin Pass in the east, with a length of 120 kilometers, of which the narrow valley section is 42 kilometers long, making it the longest gorge in the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River.
