One route to see Pingshan Village

Pingshan Village is located at the foot of Pingfeng Mountain, about 4 kilometers northeast of Yi County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province, and is named after it. "The green mountains are like a painting screen, dripping with green after the rain. Autumn leaves and spring flowers are scattered like brocade." These are the lines written by Yu Fengchen, a poet of the Qing Dynasty, when he visited Pingshan. The Jiyang River winds through many bends, passes through the village, and merges into the Zhang River coming from the south of Yicheng. It is one of the sources of the Xin'an River. Pingshan Village has been a settlement of the Shu surname since the Tang Dynasty, so it is also called Shu Village. There are many ancient buildings in the village, including the Shu Ancestral Hall, Zhu Litang, and Sangu Temple. Today, Pingshan Village is a famous sketching base. Every year, art students from all over the country come here to sketch and collect folk songs. ◆You can take the following routes to visit. 1.
