The Water Splashing Festival is a traditional festival of the Dai, Achang, Bulang, Wa, Deang, Thai-speaking ethnic groups and Southeast Asia. Armenia, a Christian country in the Transcaucasus region, actually has a similar Water Splashing Festival! Vardavar is a festival in Armenia, also known as Water Splashing Festival. On this day, people splash water on each other for celebration and fun. The word Vardavar means "pouring water on someone" in Armenian. This festival is a national carnival festival, regardless of age, the elderly and children can participate. On July 23, 2017, in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, I was blessed with a bucket of water from beginning to end without knowing this custom. My intuition was that it was a KB attack.
