We chose to stay at the historic Old Faithful Inn, as we were concerned about the possibility of bears wandering nearby at night. The inn offered both comfort and a front-row seat to the famous Old Faithful geyser, which erupts with impressive precision. Yellowstone is known for its incredible geothermal features, and we marveled at the vibrant Grand Prismatic Spring, the bubbling mud pots, and the otherworldly Norris Geyser Basin. Wildlife is abundant, and we were able to spot bison roaming the park, but knowing how dangerous they can be, we wisely observed them from a safe distance inside our car with the windows tightly closed. While the geysers are the park’s main attraction, Yellowstone also offers stunning waterfalls, dramatic canyons like the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, and beautiful hiking trails that showcase the diverse landscape. Overall, it’s a place where nature’s raw power and beauty are on full display.
