Off-the-beaten-path destination in Iran: Fahraj

Recommended Iran travel destination: Fahraj is a small village 35 kilometers away from Yazd. Because it is close to the desert, it has become a niche tourist attraction in Iran. There are not many tourists here, not even locals. But the people here are very simple and honest. On the way to the hotel, I met a group of children playing. Who knew that when they saw me, they took the initiative to come up and greet me, shaking hands with me like an adult. Their serious look was really cute! When you come here, don't miss the sunset in the desert, which is a 30-minute drive from the village. 🌅 🌟tips: Accommodation ⛺ We couldn't find accommodation for Fahrali online, so we asked locals in the village and found a guesthouse for 138 per night. It was an old house with an open courtyard, breakfast included, and we could stargaze and have a bonfire in the yard at night. Food 🍔 Restaurants are scarce in the village, and there are not many food options. Generally, the common food in Iran is kebab made of minced lamb. 🚕Transportation The taxi app in Iran is called "Snapp". It costs about 20,000 rials to take a taxi from Yazd to Fahraj, and the journey takes one hour. From Fahraj village, we hired a car from the hotel owner to the desert for about 100,000 rials, and the journey took half an hour.
