Mount Yantai is not high

The historical area of Mount Yantai along the south bank of the Min River, where there are ancient Yantai relics, is not high and gentle. From the top of the mountain, you can overlook the Min River and the buildings on the opposite bank. Here is known as the 'Museum of International Architecture', and it still retains the mountain streets, Western architecture, and ancient houses from a hundred years ago. The customs building and the US consulate from the Republic of China era still retain their original appearance. Now when you walk in the small streets and alleys, you will sometimes feel like you are traveling through time. Many young people take photos and check in here for memories, and painters sketch and paint from their favorite angles. It is a good place to relax and stroll... 'A garden, a road, a bunch of flowers, a house, a carter, all have poetry. Especially lovely is when the setting sun is faint, a bell sound is sent from the church, and a few girls with flower paper umbrellas walk under the green shade...' This is the description left by Ye Shengtao for Mount Yantai in 1923.
