We were quite lucky, though, and finally got to see the true face of Heavenly Lake one morning. 【How to Play】 ✅ Erdaobaihe Town is on the north slope of Changbai Mountain, no need to hike, a car ride takes you straight to the Heavenly Lake entrance. It is said that if you want to hike, you can go to the west slope, where you have to climb up by yourself. ✅ Ticket: 225 yuan Includes ticket + eco-friendly vehicle + tourist shuttle bus ✅ Process: 🔸 Take a bus from the visitor center, about 50 minutes 🔸 Get off and switch to a minibus, take 72 turns, and arrive at the Heavenly Lake entrance 🔸 After enjoying the view of Heavenly Lake, take the minibus down the mountain to the Luyuan Pool scenic area 🔸 Then visit Luyuan Pool, waterfall, and hot springs (the waterfall and hot springs require climbing some steps) 🔸 Then take a bus, change buses, and return to the visitor center, ending the trip ✏️【Notice】 ✨ The wind is very strong on Heavenly Lake! It's not too cold, but the wind is so strong that it's hard to stand still, so wear windproof clothing. ✨ Regarding renting cotton-padded clothes, many places offer rentals, all for 30 yuan. If you find it inconvenient to carry, you can rent them at Heavenly Lake; there are rentals at the mountain top as well, also for 30 yuan. ✨ Regarding lunch, there is a restaurant at Luyuan Pool, 60 yuan per person for a buffet, but the cost-performance ratio is quite low. If you don't mind the trouble, you can bring your own packed lunch. ✨ Locals say that the best season is September, with less rain in autumn, a higher chance to see Heavenly Lake, and no snow yet.
